Our Use of Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the website. The cookies collect information in a way that does not directly identify anyone, including the number of visitors to the website, where visitors have come to the website from and the pages they visited.

Google may use the collected data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network. This data is shared with other Google services. To learn more about how Google uses and safeguards your data please see Information for Visitors of Sites and Apps using Google Analytics.

Pixels

A pixel is a tiny image that may be embedded within certain pages on our website. Unlike cookies which save information locally on your computer, pixels do not save information onto your machine. When you visit certain pages on our website, that action causes the pixel to load and collect information (such as your device and your visit information) as you browse.

We use pixels provided by advertising providers (including Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit and Twitter) as a way to gather insights into our audiences and assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns that we run on those platforms. When users are on these platforms and view or interact with ads that we have placed there, the pixels allow us to track subsequent actions taken by those users on our website (such as link clicks, video playbacks and pages viewed). We use this information to help us show relevant advertising to you more effectively and measure the performance of such ads. We do not share any of your personal information, including your browsing history with our advertising providers. For more information on what data is shared, please see our Section 3 of our Privacy Notice.

We may also use email tracking pixels embedded in our emails. When you open an email containing a pixel, your browser automatically runs the tracking pixel code and sends a signal to our servers, confirming that the email was opened.

How can I change my settings?

You have a number of controls over how we use these technologies. Please note that, if you limit or restrict our ability to use cookies, this may have an impact on your experience in using the website. For example, the website may no longer be as personalised to you and the performance of the website may be affected.

Site cookie settings: You have the option in this cookie policy to reject/turn off the use of non-essential cookies (such as those used for analytics and advertising) and tracking technologies.

Browser settings: Your web browser or device may offer settings that allow you to choose whether cookies are permitted. It may also offer you the chance to review and erase cookies (including cookies you receive from your use of the Services).

Off-site settings: For more information on how our advertising providers collect and use your information and how to control the ads that you see on these platforms please see the following:

To opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites, visit http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Do Not Track (DNT)

DNT is a concept promoted by regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), for the Internet industry to develop and implement a mechanism for allowing Internet users to control the tracking of their online activities across websites by using browser settings.

We respect Do Not Track signals.
