Gina Lundberg

Gina Price Lundberg MD FACC FAHA is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and is Clinical Director of the Emory Women’s Heart Center. She is a Preventive Cardiologist and specializes in heart disease in women, lipid abnormalities and cardiovascular risk reduction. After being in private practice for 18 years, she was invited to join the Emory University faculty in 2012 and led the development of the Emory Women’s Heart Center with three locations across the metro Atlanta area. She founded the first women’s heart prevention program in the state of Georgia in 1998.
She attended the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and trained in Internal Medicine at Atlanta Medical Center (Georgia Baptist). Her cardiology fellowship was at Rush University in Chicago. She serves on the ACC Women in Cardiology Leadership Council and on the Council for the Georgia Chapter of the ACC. She is a passionate supporter of Cardiologists on Social Media hosting four Twitter sites and was named one of the Top 10 Women in Cardiology on Social Media in 2017. She is active with the AHA and the ACC Prevention sections and serves on the Familial Hypercholesterolemia and Hyperlipidemia working group. She teaches medical students, residents, fellows, NP and PA students in clinical cardiology at Emory School of Medicine.
