Joshua Levenson

Joshua Levenson MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He studied Chemistry at Amherst College followed by medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and internal medicine residency at The University of Michigan. He returned to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for Cardiology Fellowship prior to joining faculty in 2017. Dr Levenson is a noninvasive cardiologist, cardiac imager, and clinician educator. In addition to his efforts in patient safety and quality improvement, he has continued to focus his research, clinical and education efforts on the growing field of Cardio-Oncology. He serves at Director of UPMC’s Center for Cardio-Oncology, co-Director of Noninvasive at UPMC Shadyside, and Associate Director of UPMC’s Cardiology Fellowship. He is Fellow of the American College of Cardiology . He has won awards across his career for teaching.
