Julinda Mehilli

Prof. Mehilli is the Chief of the First Medical Clinic (Cardiology/Pulmonology/Intensive Medicine) at the Hospital Landshut-Achdorf and Professor for Cardiology at the Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich, Germany.
Before her appointment as Clinic Chief in September 2020, she was for 10 years director of the catheterisation laboratories first at the Deutsches Herzzentrum thereafter at the LMU University Clinic in Munich and was responsible for both coronary and structural invasive programs. With more than 6000 PCIs and more than 2000 catheter-based valvular procedures, she is one of the most experienced operators in Germany
Prof Mehilli spend nearly 20 years with clinical research, first as co-founder and co-director of the well-known ISAResearch Zentrum, thereafter as leader of the working group Minimal-Invasive Cardiology at the LMU Clinic and Principal Investigator at the German Center for Cardiovascular Research (DZHK) . She has led many national and international multicentre trials and authored a multitude of high-ranking publications with a total impact factor of more than 4000.
She is member of various boards and cardiologic societies – AGIK, EAPCI, DGK, ESC, Women-EAPCI as well as associate editor for medical journals as European Heart Journal, Journal American College of Cardiology and EuroIntervention.
