Aaron Wong

Clinical Associate Professor Aaron Wong is the Head and Senior Consultant, Department of Cardiology and the Director of Interventional Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore. Prof Wong graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Melbourne in 1991. He obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 1995 and did his fellowship at the Box Hill Hospital, Victoria, Australia in 1996 and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Cardiology), Singapore since 2003. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School.

Asst. Prof. Loh graduated with the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2003. He was conferred the Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine from the National University of Singapore, and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2007. He completed his Basic Specialist Training in Internal Medicine, and thereafter the Advanced Specialist Training in Cardiology at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore in 2010. He was awarded the Academic Medicine Development Award (AMDA) and completed two years of advanced fellowship training in interventional cardiology and clinical research at the MedStar Washington Hospital Center and the MedStar Heart Research Institute, Washington, DC, USA. He was subsequently elected Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (UK), Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (USA), Fellow of the Asean College of Cardiology, and Fellow of the Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology.

Lim Soo Teik

Clinical Associate Professor Lim Soo Teik is Deputy Medical Director, National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), and Director of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at NHCS. He is also the Deputy Academic Vice Chair, Training & Education in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Cardiovascular Sciences Academic Clinical Programme. Clin Assoc Prof Lim’s sub-specialty interest is in interventional cardiology. He specialises in coronary angioplasty and stenting, as well as peripheral vascular interventional treatment for diseases in carotid, renal, iliac and lower limb vessels. Additionally, he has a special interest in the management of pulmonary hypertension, dyslipidemia and hypertension.
