Our mission is to provide a collaborative environment and educational opportunities for physicians, scientists, nurses, and medical professionals to discuss and teach advanced techniques, improve clinical knowledge, and enhance the ability to provide excellent patient care, which ultimately improves patient health outcomes. To that end, the education program has strived to meet this goal educating and training the local, regional, and national medical community on the most recent advancements in medical science and research.

Dr. Karim Al-Azizi is an Interventional Cardiologist and Structural Heart Disease specialist at Baylor Scott & White Health - The Heart Hospital in Plano, TX, USA. He is the Associate Program Director of the Cardiovascular disease fellowship and a clinical asdistant professor at the Texas AandM College of medicine. His clinical and research interests include complex coronary interventions, ultra-low contrast, physiology and imaging-guided PCI, and transcatheter interventions for valvular heart disease. He speaks at national and international conferences on these subjects and serves as a principal investigator on multiple clinical trials in the field of structural heart disease and coronary interventions.

Srini Potluri, MD, FACC FSCAI is chairman of cardiology at Baylor Scott and White The Heart Hospital Plano, medical director of their cardiac catheterization laboratory and associate professor at Texas A&M. He also serves as the program director of interventional cardiology fellowship. He is on the board of Baylor Scott and White Cardiovascular Governance Council assisting in improving system wide cardiovascular quality and operations. He joined Baylor Scott and White Legacy Heart Center from the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana where he completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology. During his training he served as chief resident and chief interventional fellow and also received several awards in research and clinical excellence. His clinical interests are complex coronary interventions, chronic total occlusion intervention, transcatheter heart valve replacement, septal defect closures, left atrial appendage closures. In his busy practice he serves patients from North Texas and surrounding areas. He was named the best doctor in Dallas for several years. He is well published in the field of coronary and structural intervention and principal investigator in several national and global clinical research trials. He also serves on several industry advisory boards and actively participates and speaks at major national cardiovascular meetings. He lives in Frisco, TX with his wife and three daughters.
