Optimal Multidisciplinary Management of HTN for Oncology Patients at a Large Community Hospital System

Dr. Lalitha C. Medepalli, MD, FACC, FASE, RPVI, is an active member and is also a board-certified IC-OS Cardio-Oncologist. She has been practicing Cardio-oncology for the last 8 yrs. in Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently serving as Northside Hospital, Cardio-Oncology Medical Director, in Atlanta, Georgia. She developed several clinical algorithms that provide guidance for performance improvement and standardization of hospital procedures and protocols in the community system, promoting the use of clinical guidelines for Cardio-oncology. She authored many publications over the years on cardiovascular diseases, and cardiovascular imaging, specifically in her specialty, Cardio-oncology.

Dr. Mary Ninan MD is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with Georgia Cancer Specialists, Northside Hospital Cancer Institute. She is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology. Dr. Ninan has participated in clinical research and published in national meetings and journals. Her primary interest is in the treatment of hematologic malignancies and supportive care in oncology. She is an active member of the Hematology steering committee and Quality, Research, and Therapeutics committee.

Beth is an Adult Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Oncology and works with the Gynecologic Oncology Service of Northside Hospital Cancer Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. She holds national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the National Oncology Nursing Society and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology.
