Matthias Götberg, MD, Ass. Prof. works as an interventional cardiologist and Director of the... Matthias Götberg, MD, Ass. Prof. works as an interventional cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Skane University Hospital, Lund, Sweden. Dr. Götberg has worked in the SCAAR steering committee for many years, and is currently vice chairman of the SWENTRY registry. Dr. Gotberg has been principal investigator/investigator of numerous clinical trials, has authored or co-authored more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals. His main interests are in the field of coronary physiology, complex coronary interventions, and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement.

She completed fellowship in general cardiology and interventional cardiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She previously completed residency in internal medicine and post-doctoral research fellowship at BIDMC of Harvard Medical School. Her interests are in valvular diseases and structural heart interventions.

He received his bachelors degree in Neuroscience at Columbia University and attended the Perelman School of Medicine. He is a writer for the healthcare section of the Philadelphia Inquirer and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in bioethics with a particular interest in surgeon communication and patient decision-making. He plans to pursue a career in academic cardiac surgery.
