Dr. Kern is ABIM Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology and is a past president and now a Master Fellow of the SCAI. His research interests in coronary blood flow, intravascular physiology, intravascular ultrasound, vulnerable plaque and evaluation of cardiovascular hemodynamics.
