MBBS(HK), MRCP, FHKAM, FHKCP, FAPSIC, FRCP (Edin, Glas) Dr Chan Ka Chun Alan is currently the associate consultant and director of cardiac catheterization laboratory in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, HKSAR. He obtained the medical degree from University of Hong Kong in 2002 and underwent cardiac training in Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He received Hong Kong heart foundation scholarship in 2012 to undergo 1-year training in advanced cardiac intervention in Case Medical Center, University Hospital, Cleveland, US. He has special interest in CHIP, CTO intervention, intracoronary imaging and performed various live cases in local and regional academic meetings. He also served as honorary clinical associate professor of Chinese University of Hong Kong and honorary clinical assistant professor of University of Hong Kong. He was active in promoting Primary PCI program in his region and served as the project manager of the “Stent save a life”, Hong Kong Region.
