Dr Ajay Yadav is presently Vice-Chairman and Senior Consultant at Institute of Vascular and Endovascular Sciences in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, India. He is a Fellow of the Vascular Society of India as well as the Association of Surgeons of India. He is the member of various International Vascular Societies including Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS), European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS), Vascular Society of India (VSI), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPSG) and many more. He has numerous peer reviewed journal publications to his credit along with chapters in various textbooks. Dr Ajay Yadav has been the Invited Faculty at various National and International Vascular conferences. He has been part of various research projects and is the Principal Investigator for a number of Clinical Trials. He is the First Vascular Surgeon in India to successfully perform Total Robotic Aorto-bi-femoral Bypass. He is also the First Vascular Surgeon in North India to do an On-table Fenestration for treating Complex Aortic Aneurysms. Dr Ajay Yadav has a keen interest in Endovascular Procedures and has many complex angioplasties and embolizations to his credit. His practice encompasses all aspects of open vascular, venous and endovascular surgeries. As In-charge of Diabetic Foot Care Centre at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, he has a keen interest in management of Diabetic Foot and its vascular complications. He has trained with Dr David Armstrong at SALSA, Arizona, USA, and his team of diabetic foot technicians and podiatrists have successfully saved thousands of patients from amputations.

Dr Andrew Wigham is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist practicing at Oxford University Hospitals NHS trust and Wexham Park Hospital. Having qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2002, he trained in Interventional Radiology at the Royal Free Hospital, London. His special interests include the imaging and treatment of chronic venous insufficiency; intravascular ultrasound for the assessment of venous and arterial disease; imaging of thoracic outlet syndrome; vascular access, including arm mini-port insertion; hepatobiliary imaging and intervention, including TIPSS, hepatic embolisation, long term ascites drainage and trans-jugular liver biopsy. He has been on the invited faculty at various meetings as well as having numerous peer reviewed articles published.

Dr. AK does his best to treat patients on the basis of appositeness of the procedure and not technical intricacy. He strongly thinks that the focus is on the interventional cardiologist to be reliably trained so that the right patients (irrespective of the intricacy of the procedure) could be treated, and not only the ones the cardiologist is able to do due to his/her limited competences. This central philosophy has allowed Dr. AK to not just be a distinguished operator but also train thousands of cardiologists worldwide in intricate coronary interventions, such as chronic total occlusion PCI (believed to be the most intricate angioplasty process), over the past six years. He has carried out several extremely intricate procedures in Asia and the United States with great success and a flawless safety record. Furthermore, he has been trained in structural interventions and peripheral angioplasties at the Cleveland Clinic. After completing his MBBS from Madras Medical College in India, he became a part of several renowned institutes like the Geisinger Medical Center, University of Maryland, and Cleveland Clinic (all in the United States). Moreover, he is a member of the American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Today, Arun Kalyanasundaram is a renowned leader in the domain of Chronic Total Occlusion Interventions in the United States and rest of the world. He has served in many leadership roles such as Chief of Cardiology and Cath Lab Director at Highline Medical Centre and Head of the CTO PCI programme at Swedish Medical Centre (both in the United States). He acts as a consultant to many firms in the domain of CTOs and is one of the most popular proctors for teaching this process in the United States and globally. Apart from holding an academic position at the University of Washington, Seattle, he has also been a full-time proctor for CTOs in Asia Pacific and has assisted in propagating the “Hybrid CTO” methodology. He also has several publications in the domain and has carried out chaired sessions and live cases. He is a revered speaker in this domain. Currently, he is the chief of Cardiology at Chennai’s Promed Hospital. He is also an Honorary Director, Interventional Cardiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute (New Delhi), and the Head of the CTO PCI program as well, which is the first of its kind in the country. He has established the CHIP-CTO INDIA [COMPLEX HIGH RISK INDICATED PATIENTS (CHIP) – CHRONIC TOTAL OCCLUSION (CTO)] conference, along with some other leaders in interventional cardiology in India, to teach cardiologists how to tackle intricate coronary interventions, which are high-risk and chronic total occlusions.

Dr Billal Patel is Head of Interventional Cardiology at Lancashire Cardiac Centre (Blackpool, UK). He trained as a cardiologist in Liverpool, He obtained his PhD in Coronary Microvascular Dysfunction from the University of Liverpool. United Kingdom before moving to the Lancashire Cardiac Centre. He has presented TCT, EuroPCR and ACI. His special interests include ultra low contrast PCI, intracoronary imaging, left main bifurcations, mentorship for trainees and education. Research interests include coronary physiology and microvascular dysfunction. Some of his additional interests are Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and hill walking.

Dr. Bon-kwon Koo is a professor of Seoul National University, director of cardiovascular center and chair in Cardiology Division of Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul, Korea. Dr. Koo graduated Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea and was a visiting scholar at Stanford University previously and worked with Professor Peter J Fitzgerald and Professor William Fearon. Dr. Koo is an interventional cardiologist and his main research interest is imaging and physiology of coronary artery disease. Dr. Koo is a principal investigator of many domestic and international studies. He has published more than 400 papers in major journals. He was a course director of TCT-AP and is a course co-director of ENCORE course. He has performed series of studies on bifurcation lesions and coronary physiology/imaging which provided important insights in this field. His recent researches on non-invasive hemodynamic assessment using coronary CT angiography and computational fluid dynamics enables the assessment of FFR without invasive procedures and has started a new chapter in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease. This innovation has now been expanded to non-invasive treatment planner and non-invasive assessment for the risk of ACS.

From January 2013 until March 2019 she was in leading position of the Electrophysiological Surgery Unit at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at the University of Düsseldorf where her special interest are all kinds of cardiac device and lead-related procedures in adults and children. Since April 2019, she is leading the electrophysiological surgical program at the Duisburg Heart Center. Worldwide proctorships for lead extraction and many hospitations of colleagues from all over the world (incl. via Erasmus programs) indicate her degree of specialization and expertise. At present, her number of complex lead-related procedures is about 300 per year with a steep increase over the past five years. In total, her total number of electrophysiological surgical procedure is about 20.000 including about 3500 complex lead extraction procedure.

Dr. Shen has been engaged in cardiovascular disease for 20 years, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease, hypertension and heart failure. He is especially good at the treatment of critical cardiovascular disease. Till now Dr. Shen has performed more than 2000 cases of cardiovascular interventional procedures independently, including acute myocardial infarction, left main lesion, chronic total occlusion, bifurcation lesions, calcified lesions and lesions of bridge vessles. He has presided over 5 studies of the National Natural Science Foundation and published more than 20 SCI papers with the first or correspondent authors. At present, his research mainly focuses on the role of monocytes in myocardial repair after myocardial infarction and the study of myocardial regeneration after myocardial infarction.

Dr Chin Chee Yang is a Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at National Heart Centre Singapore. His subspecialty and research interests are in Intravascular Imaging and Physiology. He completed his Specialty Specific Fellowship in Intravascular Imaging at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation and Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, USA. Dr Chin has a special passion for teaching and holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Education. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Duke NUS Medical School and a Clinical Lecturer at the National University of Singapore’s School of Medicine.

Dr Christopher Cook is a Medical Research Council Clinical Fellow at Imperial College London, undertaking a PhD in coronary physiology under the supervision of Dr Justin Davies. He studied Medicine at University College London (UCL) and graduated with Distinction (Clinical Medicine and Clinical Sciences) in his final MBBS Examinations in 2009. He achieved a First Class (Honours) Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology undertaking a period of research at The Hatter Cardiovascular Institute. He was awarded ‘The Dean’s List’ for outstanding performance in the Faculty of Life Sciences. In total he was awarded 17 prizes including the prestigious Gold Medal Medicine (proxime accessit). In 2014, he was awarded the Imperial Valve and Cardiovascular Course Young Investigator Prize. In 2015 he was awarded the inaugural EuroPCR’s Got Talent Award. In 2017 he was elected onto the EuroPCR Clinical Programme Committee.

Dr. Chui Shing Fung is the associate consultant of Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong. He graduated from Faculty of Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed his Cardiology training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong. He then received his Structural Heart intervention training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. He is an active member in the Structural Heart Team of Queen Elizabeth Hospital and is the Council Member of Hong Kong Society of Congenital and Structural Heart Disease (HKCASH). He has special interests in complex coronary intervention.

Dr. Gao Dengfeng is a young member of the local disease branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a young member of the diagnostics branch of the National Higher Education Commission, a young member of the cardiovascular Professional Committee of the Shaanxi Medical Association, a member of the hypertension branch of the Shaanxi Medical Association, and a member of the Standing Committee of the Xi'an society of internal medicine. He studied at Washington University in St. Louis. He is good at the diagnosis and treatment of acute and critical cardiovascular diseases and coronary intervention. In recent years, he has published 23 SCI papers and participated in the compilation of one English monograph. He has won the first and second prizes of science and technology of Shaanxi Province, the excellent natural science paper award of Shaanxi Province and the "Great Wall young doctor Award", and has undertaken 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects and 3 provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects.

Professor Nof is the Director of Invasive Electrophysiology Service at Sheba Medical Center. He did his basic training in genetics of SCD at the Masonic Medical Research Laboratory. He then completed two years of advanced training in Electrophysiology at Brigham and Womens Hospital, Boston. He now concentrates mainly on complex ablations mainly VT ablation and lead extractions.

Dr. Jafary is a Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. He has been in practice for over 25 years. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Texas in Houston, and Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Tufts/New England Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Jafary is American board-certified in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac CT. Dr. Jafary is a high-volume operator and has a special interest in performing complex high-risk coronary interventions including but not limited to the use of intracoronary imaging, physiology, atherectomy, and mechanical cardiac support. Dr. Jafary has a long history of involvement with academic activities. He has spent a career in academia and teaching, has lectured extensively, and is a reviewer for several international cardiology journals.

Dr O’Sullivan received his medical degree from the University College Cork, Ireland in 1990. After 2 years in internal medicine (MRCPI) he went into Radiology in Derriford Hospital Plymouth, UK, in 1993, transferring to St. George’s Hospital London in 1995. He passed the FRCR in 1997; and obtained CCST in 1998. He undertook a IR fellowship in the world-renowned Stanford University Medical Centre, Stanford, California in 1998-1999. Dr O’Sullivan was Consultant at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Chicago from 1999-2002 and has been a full time IR in Galway since 2002. Dr O’Sullivan’s expertise in interventional radiology is one of contributing factors that make University Hospital Galway one of the key centres in Europe for endovascular reconstruction. Beside his work on deep venous disease therapies, he is also collaborating on several novel medical devices’ developments. His particular interests include venous thrombolysis and thrombectomy, venous stenting, venous stent design, IVC and iliac venous reconstruction. Dr O’Sullivan was inducted as a fellow to the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) in 2016. Dr O’Sullivan is a Fellow and Examiner for the European Board of Interventional Radiology.

Prof. Grigorios Korosoglou has been The Chair of the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine in the GRN Academic Teaching Hospital Weinheim since January 2015. Before this appointment he was Chair of the cardiac imaging section (CCT & CMR) at the Department of Cardiology, Angiology and Pneumology of the University of Heidelberg, Germany (Director of the Department: Prof. Dr. Hugo A. Katus). He has received his medical degree from the Justus-Liebig University of Giessen in 2000, including his doctoral promotion with Prof. Dr. F. Grimminger. In addition, he was a visiting scientist at the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA, from 2005 to 2007, where he worked together with Prof. Matthias Stuber. He and his group have published over 160 peer-reviewed scientific articles in cardiac imaging, focusing on imaging of the atherosclerotic plaque and on the detection of myocardial ischemia. Furthermore, he is currently the elected Vice Chair (2018-2021) of the working group cardiac computed tomography and an elected nucleus member (2019-2021) of the working group Angiology in the German Society of Cardiology. Prof. Dr. Grigorios Korosoglou has received several prizes and institutional grants for experimental and clinical studies in cardiac imaging and vascular medicine.

Hyung Sub Park, M.D., PhD is an Assistant Professor in the department of Vascular Surgery and Transplantation at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. He graduated from Seoul National University, College of Medicine and obtained his PhD at the same school. He also holds a master’s degree in Bioinformatics. Dr. Park has both Korean and United States Medical Licenses. He is currently the vice-secretary general of the Korean Society for Vascular Surgery. He has participated in 48 publications.

Prof Javier Escaned is Head of Section (Interventional Cardiology Section) at Hospital Clinico San Carlos / Complutense University (Madrid, Spain). He trained in the United Kingdom as Specialist in Cardiology and obtained his PhD in The Netherlands. Author of >600 indexed scientific articles on interventional cardiology, imaging and physiology (h-index 90) and over 30 years of experience as PCI operator, he regularly lectures and performs live cases at major scientific and educational meetings. He is a recipient of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Silver Medal and the Andreas Grüntzig Award for his contributions to the fiedl fo Interventional Cardiology. Main areas of expertise include complex PCI, intracoronary diagnostics and functional coronary angiography. His track record in coronary physiology comprises being investigator on pioneer FFR trials like DEFER (1998), collaborator with Justin Davies in the validation and clinical implementation of iFR, and developer of new tools for the assessment of coronary microcirculation. Editorial roles include Deputy Editor EHJ, Advisory Editor Eurointervention, editor of the textbooks “Coronary Stenosis: Imaging, Structure and Physiology” and “Physiological Assessment of Coronary Stenoses and the Microcirculation". Recent board positions include EAPCI board / Education Committee Chair, ESC WG Coronary Pathophysiology and Microcirculation, EuroCTO Board. Recent trials as Principal Investigator include ADVISE II, DEFINE FLAIR, SYNTAX II, PIONEER IV, Cerebral-Coronary-Connection (C3), DCR4Contrast, INOCA LongCovid and AID ANGIO. Dr Hockley is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon in the Department of Vascular Surgery, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and adjunct clinical senior lecturer in Curtin University in Perth, WA. Joe has extensive experience and an interest in the minimally invasive (endovascular) treatment of complex aortic and peripheral vascular disease, along with a particular interest in diabetic feet. Joe provides comprehensive care for all venous disorders having run the publicly funded venous service at Osborne Park Hospital for 2 years. He has extensive experience in endovenous and open management of venous disease as well as endovascular management of chronic pelvic venous disease. Joe is a member of the State Sarcoma Service based at SCGH and performs most of the major arterial and venous reconstructions for soft-tissue tumours. He also completed a mini-fellowship in Paediatric Vascular Surgery at Great Ormond St Hospital, London. He has also commenced reporting as a Vascular Surgeon for CVS vascular imaging.

Dr Justin Davies is a honorary 
interventional cardiologist at Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College NHS Trust, London. After training at Imperial College, he won a prestigious BHF research fellowship to study arterial haemodynamics. Since then he has continued to
work on the development of mathematical algorithms to aid understanding of large artery physiology and to develop new tools to assess arterial disease. The holder of several patents,
he has published widely in the field of hypertension, coronary and large artery physiology and is the winner of many national and international awards. He has several international collaborations, and is the developer of iFR and the co-principal investigator of the ADVISE studies, the DEFINE-FLAIR, ORBITA and DEFINE-PCI studies. Justin also has an interest in renal denervation, and has lead the first-in-man studies to evaluate the safety of this technique to patients with chronic systolic heart failure (REACH studies).

Jörg Tessarek MD, Head of Department Vascular and Endovacular Surgery, Bonifatius Hospital, 49808 Lingen, Germany. During his surgical education in 1990 until his board certification as General Surgeon in 1996, he was strongly occupied with vascular patients. From 1996 until 2009 he worked in Münster at the St. Franziskus Hospital and the University Hospital. Since his board certification for vascular surgery in 1999 he focused on CAS, CLI and complex surgical and endovascular aortic procedures. In his function as Vice Chairman of the endovascular section of the DGG since 2009, he could support various studies and publications covering vascular and endovascular topics. Still networking in national and international scientific societies (ISES, ESVS, DGG, DGA, FOundER Group, BDC) and running endovascular courses for the DGG and ESVS, his interest during the last years was to implement a dedicated endovascular education program into the national vascular surgery curriculum, which has become real now. This includes the use of IVUS and ultrasound to reduce radiation dose for patient and staff.

Dr Konstantinos Stavroulakis is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at St. Franziskus Hospital, Münster, Germany. He trained at the University of Crete Medical School until 2009. He moved to Germany in 2012 and became a Trainee of Surgery and Vascular Surgery at the Paracelsus Clinic Marl, Germany. He achieved his Postgraduate (Dr.med) qualification in March 2016 from the Westphälische-Wilhelms-Universität Münster. His thesis was - Combination therapy with directional atherectomy and drug eluting balloon angioplasty for isolated lesions of the popliteal artery. Dr Maket Wong is a Consultant Surgeon, Vascular team, Department of Surgery, Kwong Wah Hospital, Hong Kong.

Dr Michael Lichtenberg is the Chief Medical Officer of the Angiology Department at Vascular Centre Clinic Arnsberg, Germany. He is an interventional cardiologist and angiologist with more than 15 years of experience in the field of endovascular interventions. While he values his day-to-day experiences in interventional care, his main interest is the evaluation of new devices, techniques and procedures for intervention of peripheral artery disease. Dr Lichtenberg has performed a series of studies in this area and conducted many clinical trials. He presents his research at conferences around the world. In 2011, Dr Lichtenberg was awarded the Fellowship of the European Board of Cardiology. In 2017 he was elected for the executive secretary of the Germany Angiology Society (DGA).Since January 2020 he is the President of the German Angiology Society.

Dr. Muhammad Munawar is interventional cardiologist, Chairman of Medical Committee of Binawaluya Cardiac Center Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia and a senior lecturer at School of Medicine, University of Indonesia, University of Gadjahmada, University of Padjadjaran, and University of Samratulangie, Indonesia. Dr. Munawar has been very active in national/international professional societies and its scientific meetings over the last 20 years. He has participated over 100 publications, also is medical journal editor in the major scientific journals.

Associate Professor Neil Strathmore trained at the University of Melbourne, Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital. He has been a member of the RMH Cardiology Department since 1991. He has a wide interest in Cardiology and in training junior doctors. He is particularly interested in arrhythmias, especially the management of Atrial Fibrillation and Bradycardias. He is an Associate Professor of the University of Melbourne, is heavily involved with the teaching of medical students in all years of the Doctor of Medicine program and has received many awards for his teaching.

Dr Nishath Altaf is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon and the Head of Department of Vascular Surgery at Royal Perth Hospital. After graduating from the University of Manchester, UK; he attained a PhD in the study of atherosclerotic disease from the University of Nottingham, UK. He has trained in the UK and after a clinical fellowship at Royal Perth Hospital, he attained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS, Edinburgh) and the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). Dr Altaf is involved in the management of arterial and venous diseases utilising a range of minimally invasive endovascular techniques as well as open surgical techniques. His interests include: • diabetic foot management • endovascular and open management of peripheral vascular, carotid and aortic disease • venous disease, including, varicose veins and venous ulcers. Dr Altaf is also active in teaching as well as vascular research. He is an Associate Professor at Curtin University, a Senior Lecturer at UWA and has published over 40 peer reviewed papers.

Patrik Tosenovsky is vascular specialist in the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Royal Perth Hospital, , Perth, Western Australia. He has clinical and research interests in venous disease, foot and leg ulcers including diabetic foot syndrome and post-thrombotic syndrome. He is a clinical professor at Curtin University School of Medicine and works in RPH, SJOG Midland, Hollywood Private and Mount Hospital, Australia His practice consists mainly of endovascular deep vein reconstructions for non-thrombotic and thrombotic obstructions including IVC, iliac and femoral veins, SVC, innominate and subclavian veins. Lower limb arterial reconstructions and arteriovenous access for haemodialysis also form significant part of his job. He spent 25 years in cardiovascular and transplant surgery and the last 8 years he has focussed on venous reconstructions and arteriovenous access interventions.

Dr Rasha Al-Lamee is an Interventional Cardiology Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London, UK. Dr Al-Lamee’s research interests are complex coronary intervention, coronary physiology and invasive intravascular assessment. She designed, conducted and led the ORBITA trial and is the lead author of the primary publication in The Lancet. At Imperial College, she is actively involved in the development and recruitment for a number of multi-centre clinical trials. Dr Al- Lamee has over 40 peer-reviewed publications and has presented at international Cardiology conferences worldwide throughout her clinical career. She studied at the University of Oxford and University College London. She went onto complete her training as a junior doctor on the Barts and the London Medical rotation before being appointed as a Specialist Registrar on the North West London Cardiology rotation in 2006. Dr Al-Lamee has twelve years of Cardiology experience and completed three years of Interventional Fellowship training at Hammersmith Hospital in London. She also spent a year training as an Interventional Fellow under the supervision of Professor Antonio Colombo in Milan. She completed specialist training in Cardiology in 2013.

Dr Rick de Graaf studied medicine at the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands. He obtained his PhD at the Department of Surgery and Medical Microbiology of the Maastricht University Medical Centre. He received his radiology training at the Maastricht University Medical Centre and obtained his board licence in 2010. In 2010, he started the endovascular treatment of deep venous obstructions at the interventional radiology department in Maastricht. This led to international collaboration with the University Hospital in Aachen and the Arnsberg Clinic, Germany. He undertakes numerous invited lectures and visiting scholarships. With more than 60 scientific publications and numerous presentations on venous interventions, he is a very well-respected physician in the community. At the beginning of 2018, Dr de Graaf became Chief of Radiology, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. He is also Coordinating Director of Vascular Medicine at the Clinical Centre of Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Dr. Vijaykumar, Senior Consultant Cardiologist, from Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, The Madras Medical Mission, Chennai. Dr. Vijaykumar is specialized in Intracoronary imaging and Physiology, especially in treating Complex PCI’s. He is well known for patient centric approach which works well in Indian Scenario. Dr. Sang-Wook Kim is a Professor of Medicine at Chung–Ang University. He graduated from Chung–Ang University, and obtained his PhD in the same school. Dr Kim has completed his fellowship at the Washington Hospital Center, United States after Asan Medical center, Korea. He has extensively involved in clinical trials, led and participated in a number of clinical trials in interventional cardiology and published a number of publications. Dr. Seung-Jung Park is cardiologist, and associate professor, Division of Cardiology at Samsung Medical Center, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine. He trained in Seoul National University and completed his research fellowship of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology, Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. Ohio, US. Dr Sukhjinder Nijjer is a Consultant Cardiologist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London. He is the President of Cardiology at the Royal Society of Medicine and is the Communication Lead for the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society. He works at the Hammersmith Hospital as an Interventional Cardiologist and is an expert in Coronary Physiology. His PhD research focused on the development of instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR) pullback and co-registration. He has published over 100 original academic papers and has involved in the DEFINE-FLAIR, SYNTAX-II and ORBITA-1 and ORBITA-2 research studies.

Mr Taha Khan is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular surgeon at the Manchester Vascular Service and is the deep venous surgery lead. He is also a lead for the venous thromboembolism service. Mr Khan graduated from Imperial College London with his MBBS in 2002. He obtained an MD in vascular tissue engineering from the University of Leeds and completed his higher surgical training in the South West deanery with an advanced surgical fellowship in robotic endovascular surgery at Imperial College. He has a keen interest in the management of deep venous disease and completed his Post-CCT Fellowship in Deep Venous Surgery at St Thomas' Hospital (London) before taking up his position as a Consultant. He has lectured extensively on the management of acute and chronic deep venous disease. He is active in venous research and venous education with faculty positions on European venous workshops.

Dr Tang graduated from Queens' College in Cambridge, UK and qualified from Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge in 2000 with a Distinction in Surgery. He trained on the higher surgical training program in East Anglia, UK and was awarded his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) by the University of Cambridge in 2009 for research into carotid plaque inflammation. Just after completion of surgical training in late 2012, he was awarded a prestigious Cook British Society of Endovascular Therapy (BSET) fellowship and undertook further endovascular training at Leicester Royal infirmary, UK followed by a postgraduate fellowship at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, Australia. He has dual accreditation in both general and vascular/endovascular surgery. After four successful years of practice as a consultant in vascular and endovascular surgery at Changi General Hospital, he took up a post at Singapore General Hospital to focus on building a portfolio of academic vascular and endovascular interests, including international randomised controlled trials and endovascular device evaluation. He passionately believes that clinical research can only improve the quality of care for his patients. He has active subspecialty clinical interests in diabetic foot salvage, superficial and deep venous surgery and renal access. His research interests focus on endovenous surgery and outcome modelling in vascular surgery and has published widely on these subjects. He has over 190 peer - reviewed publications. Regionally, he has helped run multiple endovascular lower limb revascularisation workshops, serves as an expert proctor for superficial and deep endovenous surgery devices and is a regularly invited speaker at regional and international vascular meetings. He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and is a MRCS Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
