Brian Kindya

Bryan R. Kindya, MD, is an Interventional Cardiologist at Emory Healthcare and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine.

He studied biomedical engineering at Duke University and received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship, interventional cardiology fellowship, and complex and high-risk interventional procedure (CHIP) fellowship at Emory as well before staying on as faculty.

Bryan’s clinical focuses include complex coronary artery disease including chronic total occlusions, left main intervention, calcium modification, bifurcation disease, and mechanical circulatory support. He also has an interest in pulmonary embolism management and is a member of the Emory University Pulmonary Embolism Response Team, engaging in endovascular interventions for high-risk pulmonary disease. He is also involved in several cath lab quality projects, working to improve both cath lab efficiency as well as patient outcomes.
