Carlos Alfonso

Carlos E Alfonso MD is an interventional cardiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He is the current general cardiovascular fellowship program director and the director for the Advanced Coronary percutaneous intervention and CTO program at the University Of Miami Hospital & Clinics UHealth Tower. His interest is in complex coronary interventions including Acut myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock, mechanical hemodyanmic support, and CTO interventions. He is also a member or the UM Valve team and performs TAVR and percutaneous mitral valve interventions.
