Domenico Girelli

Specialist in Internal Medicine and Ph.D. in Experimental Hematology. The clinical and research activity focuses on Anemias, Disorders of Iron Metabolism, and Cardiovascular Genomics. Member of the Board of the Italian Society of Internal Medicine, the International BioIron Society, and the American Society of Hematology (Scientific Committee for Iron and Heme). Coordinator of the Center for Rare Hematological Diseases of the Verona Hospital, which is part of the European network of excellence “EuroBloodNet”.
