DONG Zhihui

Dr DONG is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon from the Department of Vascular Surgery, Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, Shanghai, China. He has extensive clinical experience in the minimally invasive endovascular treatment of lower extremity arterial occlusion, along with a particular interest in diabetic feet. He is also expert in the treatment of aortic aneurysm, aortic dissection, splenic aneurysm, renal artery stenosis, carotid artery stenosis, and also venous disease.
Dr Dong visited the Kobe stem cell transplantation research laboratory center and the Affiliated Hospital of Kyoto Prefectural Medical University to learn stem cell transplantation for limb ischemia in 2010. And he visited in Northwestern University , Stanford University and Cleveland vascular center, learning endovascular minimally invasive treatment, funded by the American Society of vascular surgery in 2011.
Now Dr Dong is a member and secretary of thoracic aorta group, vascular surgeons branch, Chinese Medical Association. He is also a member of society for vascular surgery, and International society of endovascular specialist, editorial board member of Journal of endovascular therapy.
