Kalpa De Silva

Dr De Silva is a consultant interventional cardiologist (Heart Specialist), at St. Thomas' Hospital, London and the One Heart Clinic, Harley Street, London.

He read medicine at St Bartholomew’s & The Royal London School of Medicine. He has since completed a PhD in cardiovascular medicine, awarded by King's College, University of London, with a specialist interest in the use of coronary physiology in guiding the management of chest pain, angina and heart attacks, which was undertaken at St. Thomas' Hospital, London. He was subsequently nominated for the American College of Cardiology (ACC) young investigator award for his work and continues to present at international conferences on his work and related themes. He has authored numerous international publications in peer-reviewed journals and has also written a number of books within the field of interventional cardiology.
