Introduction
Dr. Leesar is the Professor of Medicine and section-head of interventional Cardiiology at UAB. His main research is on intravascular ultrasound, coronary physiology, and antiplatelet therapy in patients with ACS. He has conducted several studies and clinical trials. Dr. Leesar has over 25 years experience in interventional cardiology and performs complex coronary intervention. He has resseach support form both NIH and industry.
