He received his bachelors degree in Neuroscience at Columbia University and attended the Perelman School of Medicine. He is a writer for the healthcare section of the Philadelphia Inquirer and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in bioethics with a particular interest in surgeon communication and patient decision-making.
