Helder Dores

Dr Dores is a cardiologist at Luz Hospital, Lisbon, where is the coordinator of Sports Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation and the Human Performance Department of Sport Lisbon and Benfica. He is the General Secretary of the Portuguese Society of Cardiology (2020-2023). Dr Dores serves as a Professor and Researcher at NOVA Medical School and Catholic University of Portugal, and Vice President of the General Assembly of the Portuguese Society of Sports Medicine (2019-2023). Dr Dores obtained his PhD (2019) with a thesis entitled ‘Cardiovascular risk assessment in athletes: the role of electrocardiography and imaging’.
